Hello Chargers Swim Team Families,

We hope this message finds you and your families well. We want to update you on a few things happening in May. We have been sending emails using the 2024 Calverton Chargers Swim Team families email list. That list is kept in SwimTopia. Moving forward, we will send emails to the 2025 Calverton Chargers families. To join the 2025 team you need to register your swimmer/s and the family members that are participating. Please register your swimmer so you don’t miss any critical information.

We are in the process of updating the important dates on our website. We wanted to inform you about our first parent/coaches meeting on May 21st, starting at 5:30 pm. Coach Tom will talk to families about the upcoming season and introduce the Junior coaches to the team. The board will discuss volunteer hours and how to get involved with the program. In addition, after the meeting, a representative from Metro Swim Shop will be available to assist parents with ordering team swimwear. Metro Swim shop will be at the pool from 6 to 7 pm. Please see the attached flyer containing a mock-up of the team wear, pricing, and sizes. **Please bring practice suits, gear, etc., to the fitting.**

There will be no shipping charges for orders placed by the initial store closing date of 5/25. Orders placed after 05/25 will incur a $12.95 flat shipping charge. 

We want to send a special "thank you" to Leigh Tinsley for organizing this event and the Team store merchandise.

Starting Sunday, May 4th, we will send out weekly emails with updates on events happening the following week. Please email us by Friday beforehand if you have any information to add.
